Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Program Objectives

Redstone has operational reciprocating engines and turbine engine run stands, all for you to take apart, inspect and reassemble. A&P Training Facilities

Learn in a simulated work environment in our industry-standard facilities, equipped with FAA-required lab equipment and featuring:

  • nearly 40,000 square feet of classroom and lab space
  • over 80 powerplants including two Rolls Royce RB 211-22B turbine engines
  • operational GE Walter 601D turboprop 658 shp
  • three Cessna 172s
  • a Lear Jet Model 24D
  • tool crib with micrometers, cable tensiometers and digital scales

Redstone uses Snap-on tools. Specific tools may vary by program requirements.
