Student Housing

In partnership with Collegiate Housing Services* (CHS) Redstone college is committed to helping you find quality, affordable housing close to campus. Collegiate Housing Services will be on campus during orientation to assist students to sign leases and settle into their new residences. We offer two options.

Collegiate Housing Services

This option is best suited for students wanting fixed-cost housing in a dorm-style setting. Some features of CHS housing options include:

  • Furnished apartments where you bring kitchen items, linens and personal goods
  • A CHS Individual Lease where you’re protected if a roommate fails to pay rent
  • CHS-flexible lease option that can be tailored to the time you need, including an exit clause
  • A utility cap for basic utilities
  • Group activities like barbeques, pool parties and game tournaments
  • Pre-screened locations that are close to school, shopping and public transportation
  • Availability of roommates
  • Ability to change apartments or roommates

Independent housing

This option can be ideal for older students, couples, families, tenants with pets and those who prefer no roommates. Independent housing usually involves:

  • Unfurnished apartments where you pay most utilities
  • Pre-qualification by CHS who matches you to your requirements
  • A direct relationship with the apartment community including application and set-up fees or deposits, and responsibility for all bills
  • Leases that are generally written for a minimum of 12 months
  • Communities allowing pets which usually require additional deposits
